Experiences
Define follow-up capabilities, like a scheduled watch, that your assistant offers customers when it answers through ChatGPT or Claude.
An experience is something extra the assistant can offer a customer after a tool call. For example, it can offer to watch for a change and check again on a schedule. When a matching tool call happens, the assistant passes your message and instructions to the AI assistant the customer is using, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
What you see
- A list of experiences on the left. An experience that is turned off shows "off" next to its name.
- + New experience at the bottom of the list.
- The form for the selected experience on the right.
- The save bar at the bottom, with the live version, any draft version and unsaved changes.
The form has these fields:
- Id. A stable name, such as
restock_watch. You set it once. - Kind. A hint for the calling assistant, such as
scheduled_watchorroutine. - Enabled. Turns the experience on or off.
- Match tools. The tool calls this experience can attach to.
- Subject. Which result it attaches to: Any, First result or Out of stock.
- Cadence. How often to check, for example
daily. - Only when. An optional condition on one field of the tool result: a field, an operator (such as
eqorlt) and a value. - Tell the customer. The message the customer sees. You can use
{{product.*}}placeholders. - Instruction to the calling agent. What the calling assistant should do.
- Check tool and Check arguments. The tool to run again on each check, and the name and value pairs passed to it.

Good to know
- Only when is all or nothing. If you fill in only part of the field, operator and value, the condition is not saved.
- Leave Only when empty to attach the experience to every matching tool call.
- Save draft is active only when you have unsaved changes. Discard draft appears only when a draft exists.
Archive is for experiences you no longer want. To pause one, switch Enabled off instead.
